Meinhardt provided erection engineering for the main bridge and alternative design services for the viaducts of the Tseung Kwan O Interchange, supporting the delivery of a complex and visually distinctive transport connection.
Engineering a landmark connection
The main bridge forms a prominent element of the Cross Bay Link, with its 200-metre steel arch creating a strong architectural identity within the Tseung Kwan O waterfront.
Meinhardt’s engineering input focused on the complex requirements associated with the erection of the main bridge, as well as alternative design solutions for the interchange viaducts. This work combined structural engineering expertise with practical construction considerations to support an efficient and buildable solution.
