We were honoured and humbled to celebrate Meinhardt’s Indonesia’s Golden Jubilee on 26 September 2025 at the Fairmont Jakarta, graciously attended by His Excellency Mr Kwok Fook Seng, Singapore's Ambassador to Indonesia and The Honorable, Bapak Ir. Abram Elsajaya Barus, Expert Staff for Economics and Investment, Ministry of Public Works on behalf of Bapak Dody Hanggodo, Minister of Public Works—a milestone reflecting our journey since 1975 as the first foreign engineering firm to establish a permanent office in Indonesia. From modest beginnings, Meinhardt has evolved into a global leader with 65 offices across 6 continents and over 6,500 staff.
The Minister of Public Works, Bapak Dody Hanggodo who shared his congratulatory message via video link expressed his appreciation for Meinhardt Indonesia’s role in urban development and national infrastructure:
“50 years is a story about the footsteps of building a city, connecting bridges, as well as buildings and infrastructure that are symbols of the nation’s progress. Meinhardt has been present not only as a consultant, but as a strategic partner for Indonesia’s journey to the future working together to build strong, sustainable, and environmentally friendly infrastructure – aligns with the vision of President.”

During the event, Bapak Ir. Abram Elsajaya Barus, Expert Staff for Economics and Investment, Ministry of Public Works on behalf of Minister of Public Works delivered his keynote address:
